Our Commitment

At DGRW, we believe that a more just entertainment industry makes better art — and better lives. We are committed to building an environment where every artist and collaborator is treated with dignity, opportunity, and respect. Our work intersects directly with representation, storytelling, and public culture; because of that, equity and inclusion are not optional — they are core to who we are.

Since 2020, we have continued to learn, listen, and reassess what it means to be anti-racist, socially conscious advocates in the entertainment industry all within a rapidly changing world. We recognize that inequity in the entertainment industry is not limited to race — it exists across gender, sexuality, disability, socioeconomic status, age, body size, and other lived experiences. Our commitment is ongoing. This page outlines the values, practices, and resources that shape our work today, and the steps we are taking as we move forward.

Our Values

Equity is not a destination — it’s a practice.

Anti-Racism

We actively work to counter racism and to recognize how systemic inequities show up in casting pipelines, representation, access, and creative leadership.

Inclusion & Belonging

We aim to create an environment where artists of all backgrounds feel seen, supported, and valued — not only represented on our roster but empowered in their careers.

Accessibility

We advocate for accommodations and accessible practices within auditions, meetings, communications, and performance environments. Inclusion includes disabled artists and those with different sensory, cognitive, or mobility needs.

LGBTQIA+ Affirmation

We affirm and uplift LGBTQIA+ artists by respecting identity, advocating for safe work environments, and supporting equitable hiring that reflects authentic representation.

Accountability & Transparency

We understand that we will not always get everything right — and accountability is part of our commitment. We welcome feedback and remain dedicated to continuous learning.

Inclusive Casting Advocacy

We advocate for casting that reflects the world we live in — challenging practices that perpetuate stereotypes, tokenism, or exclusion. We support productions that prioritize authentic storytelling and equitable opportunity.

Collaboration With Ethical Creatives

We encourage the partners, casting offices, producers, and creatives we work with to share values of respect, inclusion, and anti-discrimination. When possible, we choose to collaborate with companies committed to building equitable spaces.

Accessible Processes

We prioritize accessible audition processes, communication styles, and accommodations. Whether a client needs a virtual meeting format, translation services, or disability accommodations, we work to ensure access.

Policies & Standards

Respect is the baseline — not the goal.

Anti-Discrimination Statement

DGRW does not tolerate discrimination of any kind based on race, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, religion, nationality, age, or body size. These expectations apply internally and to our collaborators and partners.

Code of Conduct

We maintain standards for respectful communication, safe work environments, and equitable treatment at auditions, rehearsals, meetings, and events. Artists, staff, and partners are all expected to uphold these standards.
